Meet Adrian! Have you ever wanted to touch a cloud? That's what it feels like to touch Adrian the Chinchilla! Gorgeous fur aside, chinchillas are fun, energetic pets that make great companions. But chinchillas also have very specific needs. First, chinchillas can live 20+ years so they are a big commitment and a long-term pet. Another special need of chinchillas is regular dust baths (using specially formulated products) for their fur and air conditioning in the summer is a must to prevent them from overheating with their dense fur! Aside from these special needs, chinchillas require care common of rodents such as daily out-of-cage time, enrichment, safe chew toys, and socialization. Adrian would love a home that is patient and understanding as he can be a little shy with new people. We do require a photo of the enclosure you have prepared before adoption.
