BUTTA
Guinea Pig · Senior (6 years) · Male · Small · Jamaica Plain, MA
Notes from MSPCA - Boston Animal Care and Adoption Center
Butta is a dapper senior gentlepig who is hoping to find a loving retirement home. He was absolutely adored in his last home and loves to soak up all of the attention his humans are willing to offer. Although very shy at the shelter, he had a BIG and BOLD personality in his last home and did well living with kids. He has always been a bachelor, so we are unsure how he would react to a guinea-friend, so adopters who are hoping for a brotherly bond should have plans for very slow introductions and reasonable expectations regarding potential bonding outcomes. Butta is an older guy who does have some special needs, some of which are those that many elder boars run into, so his next family should be ready to help support him. If you think you have a Butta shaped hole in your heart and you're looking to fill it, come into the shelter and ask about him!
