Notes from Animal Rescue League of Boston - Pine Ridge Animal Shelter

MEET Wonton! Wonton came to us with his guinea pig friends and would love to have a friend in their new home! He is currently living with Crouton, Noodle and Dumpling. He could be adopted with them or go home to a new guinea pig friend after a slow introduction process. Like any pet, guinea pigs require a lot of care and attention. It is important to familiarize yourself with their daily and long-term needs before adopting a new pig. Since guinea pigs are prey animals, they'll need a little extra time and patience adjusting to their surroundings before their unique personalities can truly shine! Guinea pigs are talkative and clever, and make wonderful companions when they've bonded with you! In order to adopt, we will need to approve a photo of the enclosure Wonton will be living in before you take him home. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY however, we are unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. Wonton has been seen by our vet team. For more information on this or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston please visit us during our adoption center hours: Wednesdays-Sundays from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, Tuesdays by appointment only from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, closed Mondays & Holidays.
