Notes from Delaware Puppy Rescue

Bluey is a 7-year-old Blue Tongue Skink searching for his perfect forever home! He has a curious personality and enjoys spending time with his people. One of his favorite things is getting outside for some fresh air and going on walks with his person, where he loves taking in the sights and smells of the world around him.

Blue Tongue Skinks are known for their gentle nature, unique blue tongues, and inquisitive personalities. With proper care, they can live for 20 years or more, making them a rewarding, long-term companion for the right home.

Bluey requires a minimum 4’ x 2’ x 2’ enclosure with appropriate heating, UVB lighting, hides, substrate, and enrichment to meet his needs. Proof of a proper enclosure is required prior to adoption. This requirement is non-negotiable and helps ensure Bluey goes to a home where he can continue to thrive.

If you’re looking for a unique reptile companion and are prepared to provide the proper care and commitment, Bluey would love to find a home where he can spend the rest of his years safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
