Meet Koopa! ❤️
Hi! My name is Koopa, but my foster family says I’m a little Troopa! I came to rescue with my brother, but he has already been adopted, so now I’m waiting for my forever family.
I’m a little shy at first, but I’m very curious. I love swimming up to the surface, popping my head out of the water, and watching everything going on around me. And if there’s food involved, I’m definitely interested!
I have a healthy appetite and LOVE my food. My favorites are carrots, apples, dried shrimp, and the occasional cricket. I also enjoy frozen turtle food, turtle pellets, Nutri-Sticks, romaine lettuce, and mealworms. My foster family says I might also enjoy freeze-dried chicken, duck, or fish treats!
On warm sunny days, I love to bask and soak up the sunshine. ☀️ Just keep an eye on me because I’m adventurous and can wander off, and predators may see me as a snack.
I can live 30+ years, so I’m looking for someone ready for a long-term friendship and lots of little turtle adventures. ❤️
