Pepper
Snake · Adult (6 years) · Female · Medium · Burlingame, CA
Notes from Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA
Hey there, I'm Pepper! I am a six year old, female Bull Snake that is medium sized at just about four feet. I'm a strikingly beautiful snake in ssssearch of my forever home, hopefully with folks who have had some snake experience before. Bull snakes like me can posture, hiss, and strike to look scary like rattlesnakes when we're nervous. Once I know it's safe, I'm quite curious and adventurous, especially outside of my enclosure! My new habitat size should be a minimum of 60 gallons, but would ideally be a 120-gallon/4’x2’x2’ enclosure. I’d prefer a home with lots of hides and a nice warm side, and a cooler side for me to regulate my temperature. Also, some either fake or real foliage will make me comfortable and will be pleasing to look at. I have been a good eater here at the shelter, and that should continue in my new home. If I sound like your ideal new reptilian companion, swing on by with a picture of my new enclosure to show you're ready to take me home!
