Notes from Regional Animal Services of King County

Hi there! My name is Sage and I'm a rabbit who is looking for a forever home.

I was brought in by a good samaritan on September 27, 2025. My current foster describes me as curious, adventurous, and playful, and says that `Sage loves to climb all over me when we play. He doesn't always like being pet, but he loves climbing onto my lap and back, hopping over my legs, and snooping around me for treats! He also loves running through the tunnel we have in his pen, climbing on his cardboard box `castle,` and playing reverse fetch with his toys. He is the friendliest little guy!`

I am looking for someone who can provide me with plenty of love and attention.

When it comes to feeding me, I will need the proper balance of pellets, timothy hay, fresh vegetables and access to fresh water! Some of my favorite foods are kale and parsley!

For housing, I will need appropriate room to roam, with separate spaces for a hidey house, litter box, play area and food and water.

I am friendly and go with the flow, lets be best friends!

What happens next

  1. Contact Regional Animal Services of King County using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Regional Animal Services of King County, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the rabbits care guide so you arrive prepared.
