Notes from Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter
Meet William, the royally handsome gray rabbit. William came into the Shelter as a stray so we don't know about his life before now. He hopped on into the Shelter with Camilla, another rabbit. He could be adopted with her after their spay and neuter surgeries as well as a thoughtful re-introduction. William has been enjoying staff and volunteer TLC since his arrival - chewing on rabbit - appropriate items, eating veggies and herbs, and being groomed. William is looking to be an indoor rabbit to ensure his safety and to be part of the family. Could that be with you? William is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
