Notes from AVA The Rabbit Haven

Hi, my name is Pistachio. I know that may sound funny, but our foster human decided we needed nut names, so I am Pistachio. My other sibling also have "nut names". Hee hee. Really, we do not care - What I like the most about living my bunny life is how happy I am and how new everything is. I even like my litter box and adore lots of alfalfa hay. Did you notice my floppy ears? My foster mom says they are super cute. What do you think? Also, I like living in a big x pen with fleece under my feet. That feels so soft and cozy. I am a good boy. I like to cuddle and I am very accustomed to handling and attention. I like music and watching the TV screen sitting with my humans or playing around with my siblings. Come over to meet me ok? I am looking for an active family and a home I can call my own. I have so much love to offer. If you like, I can also be adopted wiht one of my brothers. Oh, my DOB is 7-31-2026.

What happens next

  1. Contact AVA The Rabbit Haven using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to AVA The Rabbit Haven, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the rabbits care guide so you arrive prepared.
