Don’t be fooled by Mr. Boots’ Resting Bun Face - he is an absolute sweetheart! Mr. Boots was in rough shape when he first arrived at the shelter, but with some TLC he’s doing great now. Given his humble beginning, comfort is now king for this little boy, whether it’s cuddling on your lap, settling in for a nap on his kooshy bed, or defying physics with some bunny yoga. He would be thrilled to meet you! (No really, that’s his happy face, we promise!)

What happens next

  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Oakland Animal Services, never to AdoptNearby.
