Notes from Oakland Animal Services
Thumpelina is a large and beautiful REW (red-eyed white) bunny who has had a major glow-up since coming to us in rough shape. Now, she's a true volunteer favorite — a super sweet lap bunny who loves nothing more than to chill and be adored. Red-eyed white bunnies are often overlooked in shelters, but they're actually some of the most chill and gentle rabbits around, and Thumpelina is a perfect example of that.
If you're a first-time bunny adopter and/or family with kids looking for a gentle, affectionate lap companion who's ready to shower you with love, Thumpelina might just be your perfect match!

- Contact Oakland Animal Services using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Oakland Animal Services, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the rabbits care guide so you arrive prepared.
