Notes from Central Arizona Animal Rescue

Hi, I’m Zara! I’m a 3-year-old Lionhead girl with a sweet face, a playful streak, and a very serious commitment to making sure my hay is arranged

exactly

the way I like it. If something is out of place, don’t worry - I’ll dig, push, fluff, and reorganize it until the situation has been properly handled. When I’m not busy with interior design, I love showing off my adorable little binkies and making everyone around me smile.

I’m also a HUGE lover girl. Offer me some pets and I’ll happily melt right into them for as long as you’re willing to keep going. I’m affectionate with just about anyone, seem pretty comfortable being picked up, and I may even have some serious snuggle-bun potential. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate little sweetheart who will happily soak up your attention all day, I might just be your girl.

For information on fees and adoption, please e-mail Lisa at lisab@caaronline.org. All rabbit adoptions are done by appointment only and in North Glendale (not at the San Tan Valley location).

What happens next

  1. Contact Central Arizona Animal Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Central Arizona Animal Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the rabbits care guide so you arrive prepared.
