Notes from Central Arizona Animal Rescue

Hi, I’m Ophelia and I’m a one year old New Zealand White!

I’m an adventurous spirit with a big personality and absolutely no understanding of the concept of personal space. I’m a volunteer favorite and I’m pretty sure I know why: I’m sweet, curious, playful, and completely unafraid to make myself at home with people. Get down on my level and I’ll climb all over you like you’re my own personal bunny jungle gym. I’m not shy about saying hello — I’m usually already on my way over before you’ve had a chance to invite me.

I love exploring and getting into whatever adventure is happening around me, but once I’ve had enough excitement, I’m more than happy to settle in and melt into some pets. Basically, I’m equal parts tiny adventurer and professional snuggle puddle. I’ll keep you entertained, make myself very comfortable, and probably convince you that whatever personal space you thought you had was actually mine all along. If you’re looking for a sweet, confident, playful bunny with a huge personality and an even bigger heart, come meet me!

For information on fees and adoption, please e-mail Lisa at lisab@caaronline.org. All rabbit adoptions are done by appointment only and in North Glendale (not at the San Tan Valley location).

What happens next

  1. Contact Central Arizona Animal Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Central Arizona Animal Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the rabbits care guide so you arrive prepared.
