Notes from The SPCA for Monterey County
Hi, I'm Francine! I was found all alone on the side of the road but was brought to the SPCA where the barn crew made sure I was safe and well looked out for. I can be a little sensitive to my surroundings and startle easily, so I appreciate a calm environment and people who are patient with me as I adjust. Giving me time to get comfortable and learn to trust you will help me feel more secure. I'm a big fan of lounging and getting cozy! You can find me relaxing in a bed of straw, settling into some shavings, soaking up the sunshine, or pretty much anywhere I can get comfortable. I believe just about any spot can make a good napping spot! One important thing about me is that I need a pool to cool off, especially in warm weather. I'm looking for a family who understands the needs of pigs and can provide me with proper shelter, space to explore, enrichment, and lots of care. With the right environment and a little time to settle in, I'll be ready to start my next chapter. Could that be with you?
