Notes from Sacramento County Animal Care and Regulation

Spanky is a handsome (we are almost sure since Spanky hasn't laid eggs) boy with beautiful iridescent feathers. He can be a bit nervous when his crate is refreshed, but, he calms right down when he is given his dust bath...who doesn't calm down with a good soak in the tub? He loves meal worms added to his food dish and keeps his eye on his pal Alfalfa. Spanky has never shown agitation toward staff or volunteers. If you are interested in Spanky (and maybe his pal Alfalfa) please ask about him at the shelter's adoption desk.
