Notes from Gillette Animal Shelter
Meet Kindle, a gentle 1.5-year-old spayed female Shepherd mix whose quiet charm will steal your heart. Having spent her entire life as an outdoor dog, this reserved girl is currently learning all the comforts of indoor living, including working on her housetraining skills at her own thoughtful pace. Kindle gets along well with most other dogs and relies on her canine pals for confidence, though her timid nature and partial deafness mean she would thrive best in a calm, quiet home without small children. With a patient adopter who can offer a predictable routine and gentle guidance, Kindle is sure to blossom into a loyal, loving companion as she discovers just how cozy life inside can be.

- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Gillette Animal Shelter, never to AdoptNearby.
