Notes from Regional Animal Services of King County

Hi! My name is Tulip and I am available for adoption.

I am considered a "small breed" dog who weighs 12.0 lbs.

I am an older girl looking to live out the rest of my life in a calm, cozy home. I can be quite independent and I like to do my own thing but once you win me over with treats I really enjoy some shoulder scratches!

I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

I'm currently in a foster home, please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me! To find that form click the "read about our adoption process" link then "foster path" link!

What happens next

  1. Contact Regional Animal Services of King County using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Regional Animal Services of King County, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
