Notes from Saving Great Animals
Meet Chance
Chance is a 3-year-old, 65-pound pitbull mix who's part cow, part puppy, and entirely goofy.
He was found as a stray and ended up in an overcrowded California shelter. He's found a soft place to land in his foster home in Snohomish, WA, where he's living with two other dogs. He's also being exposed to farm animals, and the many smells and sounds that life out of the shelter has to offer.
This guy is pure joy! He's confident, loves people and other dogs, and he greets every day like it's the best one yet. He's a puppy in a grown-up body, with medium energy, plenty of silliness, a stunning black-and-white coat, and soulful eyes that will melt you on the spot.
Chance is crate trained and sleeps through the night without a peep. He's working on his house manners and on keeping his excitement in check, but he's smart, eager to please, and a quick, willing learner.
Because of his size and enthusiasm, a home without young children would be the best fit, ideally one that will include him in adventures, daily enrichment, consistency, and training. We don't yet know how he feels about cats.
Chance is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450
