Notes from Washington Alaskan Malamute Adoption League

Chewie isn't just handsome; he is incredibly smart and eager to please. He already has an impressive repertoire of 15 commands under his belt! His vocabulary includes:

The Essentials: Sit, Down, Stay, Wait, Come, Leave It, and Back.

Fun & Games: Touch, Chin, Middle, Selfie, High Five, Hug, Spin, and Bang!

Chewie absolutely thrives when he is around his humans and loves being an central part of daily family life. He does not like sharing his humans and would be in a home with no other dogs where he is the king of the house.

One of his absolute favorite pastimes is hanging out in the backyard, keenly watching and chasing squirrels and birds. Because Chewie has a natural "explorer" instinct and a healthy prey drive for backyard critters, he needs a specific setup to keep him safe and happy: Securely fenced yard, supervised outdoor time and space to manage his spirit.

Could Chewie be the perfect addition to your pack? Contact us today to learn more about adopting him!
