Notes from Collar of Hope

PLEASE go to our website www.collarofhope.org to read all information about our puppies, rescue, adoption process and to submit our adoption application. All of our information does not transfer to the adoption sites.

Before completing our adoption application, please consider the following:

Is someone home to raise and train a puppy?

Do you have a securely fenced yard for the puppy?

Can you give a puppy a 15ish year commitment?

This litter was born in our rescue just over 24 hours from taking their Mama in. They truly are a mix of many breeds as there were 45 dogs on the property they came from. this fuy is medium sized. He looks like a husky with stubby legs. Louie would benefit from another dog in the house, but would be fine as an only dog as long as he has access to playmates once in a while. He will ALWAYS find a piece of plastic to chew on and you won't know where he got it. He loves to move laundry, but will not chew on it. His back legs and front legs do not communicate. When he jumps over things, sometimes his back legs miss the memo. He's such a love bug.

Our puppies are or will be neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated age appropriate (they may need additional vaccines), de-wormed and parasite treated/prevented throughout their time with CoH as a foster puppy.

What happens next

  1. Contact Collar of Hope using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Collar of Hope, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
