Notes from Welfare for Animals Guild

Meet Rebel! We found him running blindly down the road and do not know too much of his background, but he is showing himself to be people-friendly, playful, and a lot of fun. As we get to know him better, we have learned that Rebel is not a fan of other dogs, and would do best as the only dog in the home.

Rebel successfully underwent eye surgery in October 2026 to correct his tear ducts. He may continue to need special care for his eyes, but the surgery has lessened his need for frequent eye medications.

Rebel is waiting for his schnauzer-loving forever home!
