Meet Carmella! Carmella is a 1 ½-year-old Pit Mix who has been waiting for her forever family for a while now. She may have a strong personality, but underneath it all is a loving girl who is ready for someone willing to understand her and give her the time she needs. Carmella is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines. She needs a home with no cats and older kids. She is dog selective, so a dog test will be required if you have another dog in the home. When introducing her to a new canine friend, taking things slow, patient, and at her pace will be important. Carmella would also benefit from some training alongside her adopters. She could use a little help learning basic manners and understanding boundaries, but with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, she has so much potential to thrive. She LOVES her play yard and having fun with her toys, and an active family would be a great match for her. She needs people who will keep her mind and body busy and give her appropriate outlets for all that energy. Carmella isn't looking for just anyone—she's looking for her people.
