Notes from Bobbie's Pit Bull Rescue & Sanctuary

Meet Valka!> house and crate trained> no kitties or other animals> great in the car> great on the leash> wants to be the one and only pet in the home> children 12 and up> great snuggler> treat motivated and a fast learner> knows basic commands> easy going personality with medium energy level> super loving and dedicated to the people she lovesValka's foster mom describes her as extremey loving, very relaxed, and an expert snuggler once she gets to know her people. She doesn't require a lot of exercise, but is just as happy to go for a walk as she is to chill with you on the couch. She is also a very attentive listener, always tilting her head side to side when you talk to her, showing you she is invested in whatever it is you want to talk about! Valka is house and crate trained, and knows basic commands. She is smart and very food motivated, so learning new things will be a breeze. Valka has gone through heartworm treatment and must be on monthly heartworm prevention. She had also a mass cell tumor on her toe which was removed. We are looking for an experienced adopter for the following reasons:> She is scared of thunderstorms. Although Valka is perfect in the crate, she has anxiety during storms and is trying to get out when by herself. She is fine if someone is with her.> Valka is guarding her food when other animals are around> Valka does not like other animals to be in her face (although she is calm and collected going for walks with other dogs)If you're looking for beauty, strength, and love, make time to meet with Valka and she will surely steal you heart.
