Notes from Rescue Rovers Dog Adoptions

Hi future family! My name is Sammy Star and I am ready to live my best fall girl life with you! Did someone say a PSL for you and a pup cup for me??

I am a female rat terrier mix (best guess) and I've got loads of loves to give. My story started a little rough, I ended up in rescue pretty severely malnourished but you would never know...I still love people and snuggles are my fav (despite being failed a bit previously). I found out that toys are SO fun since being in my foster home and do really good at self-entertainment. I am a medium energy girl so I am simply built for almost anyone or any living situation.

I am still putting on weight but full grown I should be about 35lbs-40lbs.

What I’m good at:

• Professional-level snuggling

• Eating is my absolute favorite, very food motivated so I will train quickly • Potty training 80% there!

• Crate training - master!

What I’m working on: • Basic commands (I already know sit!)

• Jumping (I would love it if you would hold me and carry me around - princess treatment is my fav)

I enjoy the company of other dogs but would be absolutely fine solo as long as I have my person. Cats are currently unknown, but with proper introductions, I should do just fine. Because I'm a terrier, I can be mouthy with play so would do best with kids 6+ that can redirect me to a toy.
