Notes from Rescue Rovers Dog Adoptions
Forget the ghosts and goblins… we’re the cutest little creatures you'll meet this Halloween! And boy are we the cutest little pups. We are 9 week old terrier mixes and while we don’t all share the same looks, we do share the same love of treats, toys, fuzzy blankets, and snuggles.
We’re estimated to be between 15-20lbs full grown. Perfect, we know. When we came to our foster house we were very scared of.. well, everything. If foster mom looked at us we’d turn away and avoid eye contact. Thankfully she didn’t give up and snuggled us until we loved her for it. We don’t bark when we meet new people, but we may still act shy until we know you’re safe. And that doesn’t take long!
We’ve become very used to other dogs big and small, kids, and daily life while we’ve been here. And don’t worry, we’re not free loaders over here- we know there is work to be done and we’re happy to do our share. We can eat the broom while you sweep, pre rinse the dishes as you load them, or chase the vacuum when it tries to get you. We live to serve! We sleep quietly together in our puppy pen each night, and we actually enjoy the safe space- so kennel training will be a piece of cake. And we’ve got a great start on potty training too.
We’re pretty well rounded pups energy wise- we’ll go for walks with you and lounge on the couch. And foster moms favorite part- our nighttime zoomies. Once the house gets quiet we will run up and down the hallway and chase our own tails to get the energy out before we settle in for a good nights sleep.
We’ve learned lots in our foster home, but we’d love our own families to spend spooky season with. We’ll leave the link to apply here.
Love, Mummykins (girl), Witchy Poo (girl) Boo bear (girl), and Batty Boy(boy).
