Notes from West Valley Animal Services

Dwight is a gentle, sensitive sweetheart who’s still learning how to be brave. He loves going on walks with his brother Jim, staying close and feeling safe as they explore together. On his own, he’s not quite sure yet — but with time, patience, and love, he’ll gain confidence just like his brother did. Dwight learns quickly, listens well, and has the softest, sweetest energy. He melts into affection, follows quietly, and gives those tender little sighs that make you fall in love instantly. He’s the kind of dog who just wants safety, kindness, and a forever family who understands his gentle heart. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will adore you completely, Dwight is your boy — especially when adopted with Jim, his comfort and courage. Dwight is currently in a foster home so call the shelter to make an appointment to meet him. He would love to be adopted with his brother Jim.
