Notes from Shelter2Rescue Coalition

Meet Lily! Lily is a lovely 1-year-and-7-month-old Lab mix, possibly with some Cattledog in her mix. She is a happy, intelligent girl who has already learned several commands and is eager to show off her skills! Lily knows how to sit, lie down, and shake paws.

Lily has been showing what a wonderful companion she can be in her foster home. She is crate-trained, well-behaved in the home, and walks nicely on a leash. She also travels exceptionally well in the car. She is so quiet and settled that you may almost forget she is there!

Lily gets along with several dogs in her foster pack. If you have a dog at home, we would be happy to arrange a meet-and-greet to see how they get along.

With her happy personality, intelligence, and lovely manners, Lily has so much to offer a lucky family. She is ready to find a home of her own where she can continue to learn, share her love, and be part of the family.

Could Lily be the companion you've been looking for?

What happens next

  1. Contact Shelter2Rescue Coalition using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Shelter2Rescue Coalition, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
