Meet Thou

Thou is an 8-month-old Labrador Retriever with a big heart, a playful spirit, and all the goofy charm you'd expect from a young Lab.

This handsome boy is full of life and loves having fun. Whether he's chasing toys, exploring the yard, or soaking up attention from his favorite people, Thou approaches every day with enthusiasm. He's incredibly sweet, affectionate, and eager to be part of the action.

Like many adolescent dogs, Thou is still learning about the world around him. While he absolutely loves people, he can be reactive toward other dogs and is not the best fit for every canine social situation. Because of this, we would recommend thoughtful introductions and ongoing training to help him continue building confidence and good habits.

The good news is that Thou is young, smart, and eager to please. With guidance from a committed adopter, we believe he has tremendous potential. He deserves a family that sees beyond his challenges and appreciates the loving, playful dog he truly is.

Because we'd like to find the right home for him, his adoption fee is flexible. We ask prospective adopters to be as generous as they can, as adoption fees help us continue providing care to animals in need.

Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether he is housebroken.

Upon intake, every animal receives:

Spay/neuter surgery Microchip All age-appropriate vaccinations Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed) Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption

Adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.
