Meet Saint Roch

Saint Roch is about 2 years old, weighs around 8 lbs, and is still available for adoption. His adoption fee is $300

This tiny sweetheart was found running loose outside of Grandview with a head injury, scared and alone. His story is extra special - he was found alongside another little dog who looked just like him, whom we named Gotthard. Their names honor the legend of Saint Roch, a saint who cared for plague victims and was saved by a loyal hunting dog named Gotthard who brought him food and comfort.

Gotthard has already been adopted, and now it's Saint Roch's turn to be chosen and cherished. He is a gentle, loving boy who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys being part of a calm, friendly pack. His sweet nature and soft spirit make him a truly special companion.

Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether he is housebroken.

Upon intake, every animal receives:

Spay/neuter surgery

Microchip

All age-appropriate vaccinations

Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)

Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption

Adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.

Saint Roch is ready for his miracle moment - a loving forever home where he can feel safe, adored, and finally at peace. Could he be the one to bless your home with his gentle heart?

What happens next

  1. Contact Animal Hope Pet Adoptions using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Animal Hope Pet Adoptions, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
