Notes from Animal Control Shelter

Stray found in the county. Vet tech school said Opal "has all the energy on the planet" and she would thrive with someone who likes to run! They also informed us that she hyper-focuses on other dogs and are unsure how she might do with other dogs. She may need to go into a home where she is the only dog.

What happens next

  1. Contact Animal Control Shelter using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Animal Control Shelter, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
