Notes from Fort Bend County Animal Services

Lady is a little sweetheart who just wants to be loved! This small little girl comes across as nervous at first, but that appearance is hiding the calm, gentle girl who just wants to be close to you underneath! Giving her treats and getting her out of the kennel really helps her grow in confidence, and once she’s comfortable her affectionate side shines strongly! She absolutely loves being pet and will happily stay right by your side for as long as you’ll pet her. She also always rolls over on her back so you can give her belly rubs. Lady already knows how to sit on command, and she takes her treats gently from your hand. She’s not much for toys or wild adventures, she’s much more interested in calm companionship. She’s a low energy girl and would make an wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm, gentle girl to keep them company. She’s going to make someone a sweet little shadow!
