Notes from Fort Bend County Animal Services

Meet Darlin! This sweet Rottie mix is a calm, gentle girl who enjoys the simple things in life. She walks well on leash without pulling, and enjoys stopping to sniff around the way. She also seems to know exactly what a leash is for, as she’ll trot towards you from across the play yard when she sees you pick one up. Darlin can be a little unsure of herself sometimes and be a bit timid, but she has such a sweetheart that still shins through. She’s always happy to be pet and will soak up as much love as she can get. She’s even shown a little interest in toys! This low energy lady is perfectly content to do her own thing and take in the world around her. She doesn't need constant entertainment or a packed schedule, but Darlin would love a home where she can build confidence, enjoy gentle affection, and settle into life at her own speed. Sometimes, the sweetest companions are the ones who are happy just being by your side. Could Darlin be your girl?
