Notes from Fort Bend County Animal Services

Soba arrived at our shelter with a noticeable mark around his neck, as though he may have worn a collar that was too tight for far too long. We’ll never know exactly what happened before he came to us, but we do know he’s ready for a fresh start with someone who will make sure he’s comfortable, cared for, and loved. Now, Soba is a happy, playful guy who seems to find just about everything exciting! He’s easy to handle on leash, and walks well without pulling. He has a fun, energetic personality and loves to dance around when he’s excited. As energetic and fun loving as he is, Soba also loves attention. He’s perfectly content to sit calmly by your side and soak up all the love you’ll give him. He’s a gently treat taker and, while he doesn’t know any tricks, he has a silly side a mile wide! Especially if squeaky toys are involved. He only plays with toys for a second, but they always set off a case of the zoomies. With his playful personality, higher energy level, and love of people, Soba would be a great companion for a dog to keep them smiling. And if you see him with a little drool on his face, don't worry – that’s just Soba’s own little special finishing touch!
