Notes from Lost Paws Rescue of Texas

BREED-Schnauzer; SEX-Male; SIZE-Small; WEIGHT-13 lbs.; AGE-Approximately 2 Years; SPAY/NEUTER-Yes; HOUSETRAINED-Currently Uses Doggie Door; GOOD WITH KIDS-Yes; GOOD WITH DOGS-Yes; GOOD WITH CATS-Unknown; HISTORY-Rescued From A Local Shelter; ADOPTION FEE-$400; Meet Peter—a sweet, playful boy with so much love to give. Peter adores people and enjoys the company of other dogs. He has already learned to use the doggie door, is doing wonderfully with housetraining, and walks nicely on a leash. More than anything, Peter wants to be close to his people and share in the simple joys of everyday life. Peter is healthy and happy. He was born with both male and female reproductive anatomy, a condition sometimes called intersex or hermaphroditism. He has been neutered, and although his anatomy may look a little different, it is nonfunctioning and does not stop him from living a full, joyful life. Peter does not know that he is different—he only knows that he has affection, loyalty, and plenty of playful energy to share. He is ready for a family who will see the wonderful dog he is and give him the safe, loving home he deserves. In return, Peter will be a devoted companion and a cherished best friend.
