Notes from Dallas Pets Alive

Cooper came into his foster's care after his previous owner could no longer care for him, and since then, he's been getting a chance to experience more of what life as a beloved family dog can look like. He's curious, affectionate and an absolute goofball who wants nothing more than to be close to his people. In fact, Cooper's love language is definitely quality time if you're looking for a dog who will happily be your shadow, you've found him.

At home, Cooper loves pets, attention and simply laying next to his people. He has a moderate energy level, so he enjoys getting outside to explore and play but is equally happy settling in for some downtime afterward. He's treat-motivated, enjoys toys and is already potty and leash trained.

Cooper has also done well around other dogs with appropriate supervision. He is currently intact, so some of his behaviors around other dogs may change once he is neutered. His foster has noticed that Cooper can become fearful if voices are raised or hands are lifted

All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. You can view all adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallaspetsalive.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/ For more information, you can email adopt@dallaspetsalive.org.
