Notes from Rockwall Animal Adoption Center
Meet Heart! With a name like hers, it's no surprise this adorable 10-month-old Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull mix has so much love to give! Weighing approximately 40 pounds, Heart is a sweet, affectionate, and active girl who's ready to leave shelter life behind and find a family to call her own. She was found wandering near the AmeriSports Complex in Rockwall on October 19, 2026, and despite having a microchip, she was never reclaimed. Heart would thrive with a family who enjoys an active lifestyle and can provide plenty of opportunities for exercise, playtime, and adventure! She needs to be the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. Heart is already spayed and microchipped, with her remaining vaccinations and heartworm testing scheduled for October 28, 2026. Her adoption fee is $125. Could Heart be the missing piece of your heart?
