Cosmos Finn

Meet Cosmos Finn. He and several others were were surrendered to a shelter. One of our volunteers saw them and asked if we could help. Cosmos is estimated to be 2 years old. and only 12 pounds. They are believed to be wire haired dachshund mixes. We were told possibly wire haired dachshund/schnauzer mixes. Cosmos was pretty shut down when he first went into his foster home but is coming out of his shell and showing his personality. He can be nervous/shy with meeting new people and may try to hide but once he warms up to you he is a love bug! He will be your shadow, he wants to have you in his sight. He is good with other dogs and is already playing with the dogs in his foster home. He will just need a home that gives him a little time to warm up and to understand he has been through a lot but is totally worth the wait. Another playful confident dog would help him to trust quicker and someone that is home more often would be good too. Cosmos is housebroken, loves snuggles and his kennel is his safety place when needed. He might be ok with older kids that will give him a little time, not sure he would do well with littles.
