Notes from Austin Boxer Rescue

10/17/2026Major II is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Major II! I am a handsome 3 year old flashy brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to not getting along with the doodle dog in the home. I am bonded with my brother, Duke XII, so it is important for us to be adopted together which means double the boxer love for you! I am described as friendly, protective, playful, affectionate, and obedient! I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. There are no children in the home but I am said to be kid friendly! I will bark at new people that come to our home, but then I warm up to them! I am house trained, crate trained, eat Kirkland brand dog food, and sleep in my kennel at night! If the humans must be away, I am great being left alone. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, any ball, and running! If you think my brother Duke and I would make a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them our names because we are waiting to meet you!
