Notes from Saving Pyrs In Need

Adopt Cisco! He is a dog friendly, shy, loving male Great Pyrenees mix. We are guessing he is just over 1yrs old, currently weights 70lbs but may grow some more.

Cisco was considered a feral dog when first coming into SPIN Rescue, he was very scared and avoidant of humans... now he wags his tail when meeting new people and lets them pet him. He can still be a little timid but he has signifianctly improved from just 4 months ago.

Despite being scared, Cisco has always been gentle and kind. He has done well with tested with kids and is sweet when they come up to pet him.

Cisco absolutely loves dogs, he enjoys their company and playing with them. He quickly integrated with the dogs in his foster home, he is good at matching their energy levels and respecting signals. He loves going to dog parks too.

He has a moderate amount of energy and would love a dog buddy in his forever home, if not he would love doggie playdates.

Cisco is house trained. Loves going on walks. Cars are still new for him and isn't a fan of getting in but does well once he's in there.

He doesnt bark very much, instead of barking at strange noises he will hide. He is crate trained and uses his crate as a safe space.

From feral stray to happy family dog, Cisco is wonderful, loyal, loving, and deserves the best. He is ready for a forever family to continue showing him love and helping him learn the world is a safe place.

Cisco is neutered and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $250. He is currently in a foster home in DFW area of Texas. We adopt out of state, but adopters must arrange their own transportation.
