Diesel
Siberian Husky (medium coat) · Adult (2 years 7 months) · Male · Medium · Carrollton, TX
Notes from Texas Husky Rescue, Inc.
Diesel is a handsome 2-year-old husky mix who weighs about 45 pounds and has a big heart packed into one enthusiastic, affectionate pup. With an energy level of 4, Diesel loves being active, exploring, and spending time with the people and dogs around him.
This gentle boy is especially sweet with people. He loves affection, enjoys cuddling, and is happiest when he can be part of the action. Diesel also loves other dogs and would do best with canine companionship. He isn’t currently considered a good fit as an only dog, so a friendly doggy sibling would be a wonderful match for him.
Diesel is house trained and is working on his crate training. Like many adventurous huskies, he enjoys digging, so his family will need to help redirect that behavior and provide plenty of exercise and enrichment. He’s also a jumper and will need a high, secure fence whenever he’s outside.
Diesel’s experience with cats and children is unknown, so introductions should be handled carefully and thoughtfully. What is known is that he is incredibly gentle with people, affectionate, playful, athletic, and eager to share his life with a loving family.
If you’re looking for a sweet, active cuddle buddy who loves people and dogs, Diesel may be your perfect adventure partner.
