Notes from Dallas Pets Alive

Indie is a precious girl who aims to please!

She will be your shadow and is just waiting for any opportunity to make you smile.

She and her sister, Libby, are moderately active puppies who have a lot of that fun puppy energy...and then the hard puppy crash after playtime!

Indie is a smart girl who is just waiting to learn more tricks. She plays well with other dogs but can get a little rough with her sister at times. She can be left alone in a contained area but would need to have toys to chew on or her favorite treat of chicken feet to keep her busy.

She is learning how to walk on a leash and just needs a bit more time and practice. But because she is so smart and eager to please, she will likely learn in no time.

All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. You can view all adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallaspetsalive.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/ For more information, you can email adopt@dallaspetsalive.org.

What happens next

  1. Contact Dallas Pets Alive using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Dallas Pets Alive, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
