Notes from Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas

Luna Belle is a 3-year-old girl who's been on a bit of a journey to find her forever home. After bouncing between several homes in her young life, she's still learning that not every stranger is a stranger forever. She can be a little wary of new people, especially men, but give this girl a little patience and a chance to feel safe and you might just become her whole world! Her foster mom only needed a day to win her over and now Luna is her shadow, personal cheerleader and professional kiss distributor! She celebrates her foster mom's return from work with happy dances and thinks mealtime is absolutely worth throwing a party over. When she isn't busy being the world's most enthusiastic fan, she's more than happy to curl up for some quality snuggle time. Luna gets along with other small dogs and enjoys having friends to play with, but she's just as content soaking up one-on-one time with her favorite human. She's also working on her potty training as she adjusts from apartment life to living in a house. What Luna wants most is a place to finally call home--a family who understands that trust takes time and is willing to help her discover that new people can bring good things, too. She may need a little extra patience when meeting strangers but the love she gives in return is something special. Could you be the person who shows Luna Belle that she's finally home for good?
