Notes from Allie's Haven Animal Rescue
Meet Riff! Your Future Best Friend and Professional Cuddlebug!
At just 7 months old, Riff is a handsome Goldendoodle who takes after his gorgeous, purebred Golden Retriever mama. With his sweet face, gentle soul, and golden heart, this boy is pretty much impossible not to love!
Riff’s story had a scary start. He, his brother, and their dad were found as strays near drowning in a canal. Thankfully, they were rescued, and their owners released them into our program so they could have a chance at a brighter future. Now, Riff is ready to leave his past behind and find the loving family he deserves.
If you’re looking for a kind, easygoing puppy, Riff might just be your dream dog! He loves everyone he meets, gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, and is happiest when he’s close to his favorite human. Personal space? He’s not really familiar with that concept! Riff firmly believes he’s a lap dog, and honestly, who’s going to argue with him?
He’s kennel trained, walks fairly well on a leash, and is still working on his indoor manners like any growing puppy. Riff is a very submissive, sensitive soul who may have a little excitement tinkle when approached. His foster mom is helping him build confidence, and with patience, reassurance, and lots of love, this sweet boy will continue to blossom.
Riff doesn’t ask for much. Just a safe home, a loving human to follow around, a cozy spot to snuggle, and maybe a lap that’s willing to accommodate his growing puppy body. ❤️
Who could resist a handsome Golden boy with a heart this big? Riff is ready to find his forever family and give them a lifetime of love, loyalty, and cuddles. Could that family be yours?
