Notes from Legacy Humane Society

Meet Atty

Atty is a sweet, intelligent, and loving girl who has come a long way and is ready for the happy life she deserves.

Atty was found tied to a tree with very little room to move and no access to food or water. Thankfully, her owner agreed to surrender her to one of our volunteers, and Atty is now safe, comfortable, and being loved in her foster home while she waits for her forever family.

Despite everything she has been through, Atty has an incredibly sweet nature. She is friendly, affectionate, and loves being around people. She also gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats.

Atty is a smart girl and a quick learner. She is currently working on her leash manners and basic commands and is doing fantastic! She is already house-trained and crate-trained, and she is eager to please.

One of Atty’s favorite things is her Kong filled with treats and peanut butter. Give her a Kong, and she is one happy girl!

Atty has shown just how resilient and forgiving dogs can be. She has left her difficult past behind and is ready to spend the rest of her life being cherished, spoiled, and part of a loving family.

Atty has since been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She tested positive for heartworms and began the slow-kill treatment that avoid activity restriction and harmful side effects. Her adoption fee is $275 and you can apply for her here if you're interested in learning more: Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society
