Notes from Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas

Bailey Boo is a 6-year-old sweetheart with a big personality and a whole lot of love to give! At 18.5–19 lbs, she's a little on the fluffy side (okay, maybe a lot!), so she's officially starting her weight-loss journey to get down to her goal weight.

Bailey knows what she likes and isn't afraid to show it! She does well in large crowds and will try to steal some attention from you or your guests! She's an absolute sweetheart and cuddle bug with the people she knows and loves. With that being said, she is a little more reserved and may take a little longer to warm up with men. She's great with dogs of all sizes and enjoys having other pups around. She need at least one dog friend that will keep her company when you are busy or gone from home. She's also comfortable sleeping in a kennel with other dogs or alone and seems to do well with potty training so far!

We're still figuring out how she feels about cats, but she may be a little intimidated by them. Bailey is looking for a loving home that understands she may need a little time to warm up. In return, you'll get a devoted little girl who loves attention, enjoys the company of other dogs, and has plenty of personality to keep you smiling!
