David at a GlanceDog-friendlyPotty trained, crate trained, and leash trained Knows `sit` and `down'Kid-friendlyGreat car riderLoves toys, snuggles, and napsFun and playfulYoung, affectionate, and resilientReady for a forever familyMeet David! David is a young pup who has already been through more than any puppy should. He came from an animal cruelty situation and spent 70+ days in the shelter before entering foster care. Despite his past, David has remained incredibly sweet, loving, playful, and resilient. He’s the kind of dog who keeps showing up with a happy heart. Since coming into foster, David has mastered potty training, sit, and down, is crate trained, does great in the car, and loves toys, snuggles, and a good nap. He’s now working on the fun-but-important puppy manners. David is a high-energy, playful boy who would thrive with an active family. He loves having a doggy friend to play with and would do well with another higher-energy, playful dog who enjoys the same kind of fun. He could also be happy as your one-and-only if his family is ready to give him plenty of exercise and enrichment. And while David has been through a lot, he doesn’t let his past define him. He is affectionate, goofy, playful, and so deserving of a family who will continue showing him how good life can be. David is ready for his forever home. Could that be you?
