Notes from San Antonio Animal Care Services

Meet This Handsome Gentle Soul! ??At 8 years old and around 60 pounds, this handsome boy is a lovable Shar-Pei/Labrador mix who has mastered the art of enjoying the simple things in life. Leonard Alexander is a calm, easygoing companion who loves his short walks but is equally happy spending the day relaxing in his comfy bed. In fact, naps are one of his specialties! He sleeps peacefully and quietly throughout the night and is perfectly content to spend much of his day snoozing nearby. He is completely house-trained and has never had an accident in his foster home. He also gets along well with other dogs and enjoys peaceful, quiet time with his people. He is respectful of the home and stays off the furniture, preferring his own cozy bed. He already knows “sit” and “paw” and is incredibly polite when receiving treats or food. And if you happen to have a few hot dogs or weiners, you may just become his new best friend! ????This sweet senior is looking for someone who appreciates a low-key, loving companion—someone who enjoys quiet mornings, short leisurely walks, cozy naps, and having a faithful friend by their side. If you're looking for a gentle soul who doesn't need much to be happy, this handsome boy may be exactly who you've been waiting for. ????Age: 8 yearsWeight: Approximately 60 lbsBreed: Shar-Pei/Labrador mixEnergy level: Low to moderateHouse-trained: Yes!
