Notes from Dallas Pets Alive

Dalton is a bouncy, playful, and silly boy who doesn't let the fact that he is blind stop the pure JOY with which he meets every day!

Dalton is a moderate energy, leash, and potty trained pupper who loves nothing more than a walk or a sniff around the yard and a big SPLOOT in the sun. He loves his indestructible chew toys and loves to devour bully sticks!

He is friendly to strangers providing they give him a little space to come to them and the limited interactions he has had with other dogs have all been positive.

He is a total love bug who will follow you around and more often than not head butt your shins if he isn't quite sure where you are or if he feels your attention might be elsewhere. He loves to roll in the grass or sit in your lap for all the scritches.

Being blind, he does thrive on structure and patience and would do best in a home with a yard where he could familarize himself with his surroundings and safely enjoy outdoor time.

He does require daily eyedrops for glaucoma treatment but he is reasonably cooperative when getting them. He really loves Kraft cheese slices, so he can be bribed!
