Lux
Shepherd / Great Pyrenees / Mixed · Young (1 year) · Male · Large · McKinney, TX
Notes from Legacy Humane Society
Lux is one years old and 75 lbs as of September 2026. He and his brother were taken in as puppies, but the family has decided the duo is too much to handle. We're now helping them find a home for Lux!
He's great with kids and other dogs. He's looking for a home with a secure fence and a family who can give him lots of exercise. Lux would make a great adventure buddy for someone who's dedicated to continuing to raise him to be the best dog he can be. He's neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $275 and you can apply online if you're interested in meeting him. Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society

What happens next
- Contact Legacy Humane Society using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Legacy Humane Society, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
