Notes from Operation Pets Alive

Meet Billy – A Little Guy with a Whole Lot of Love! ❤️

We don't know much about Billy's past, but we do know one thing for sure—this boy is an absolute sweetheart!

Billy came into our rescue from BARC with his buddy Orville. He's incredibly sweet, affectionate, and has never met a stranger! He absolutely loves people and is always happy to soak up some attention and affection.

Unfortunately, Billy is a little confused about his new living arrangements. He's currently in boarding, separated from his best buddy Orville, and doesn't quite understand why he's living in a kennel.

While Billy adores people, he's selective about his canine companions. In fact, Orville seems to be his one and only doggy friend! Billy would likely do best as an only dog, where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself.

And did we mention he's an A+ car rider? He's ready to hop in and head off to his next adventure!

Billy desperately needs a foster or forever home! This sweet, lovable boy deserves so much more than life in a kennel. He just wants someone to love and a place to call his own.

Could you be the one to give Billy his happy ending? ❤️

Can't adopt right now? Operation Pets Alive is looking for a foster home for Billy. Fostering is short-term, and the rescue usually covers food and vet care. Ask them about it.

What happens next

  1. Contact Operation Pets Alive using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Operation Pets Alive, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
